Day 3 Photography Challenge ~ Clouds

I am soooo going to have the best clouds!!  Watch out Elise and Malu!  Texas, hands down, has the most beautiful sunsets and therefore creates the prettiest clouds.  Yeah Ya'll, you bet your bottom dollar we do!

Alas, today's ugly truth (grumble)

Truthfully, these were about the only clouds we have seen here in dang near ferever.  Yes, they were actually rain clouds, something we haven't experienced in a long darn time.  Did we get rain here in the "Exceptional Drought Region" of The Texas Hill Country???  HELL NO!!  We've been doin' every rain dance we know, lighting candles, offering our souls to the devil himself, you name it and still no dice.  It's drier here than happy hour at the Betty Ford Clinic! So please, say a little prayer for us before the well runs dry, no kidding it just might.  

So we will continue working "The Secret" (by Rhonda Byrne):  It's raining now, It's raining now, It's raining now.......It's raining so hard it sounds like a cow pissing on a flat rock...

Yes, of course day 2 would be on Sunday :/

I have been working in the garage with my husband building a super cool table for our patio with reclaimed wood.  It's awesome and has a built in planter down the middle for succulents.  So off I go to the local nursery to purchase dirt, rocks and baby succulents!

Day 1 Photography Challenge ~ Self Portraits

Day 1 of our Photography Challenge!  Self Portraits.  I really didn't want to do this one, Elise even suggested I draw a picture of myself since I was being such a baby about it.  That was a really good idea.  I should have done it.  Just too lazy today to pull that off in time, so here you go, taada.... me.
